South-west of Agios Kirykos lies the village Plagia (='slope'), next to Chrysostomos village, built on a mountain slope. It’s very green, with wild natural beauty and many pastures stretching down to the sea, where it has a beautiful beach.
The centre of the village is a paved square of traditional houses, an old stone school, 2 traditional cafés, and a church built in 1953 on the site of an older one.
Every year, a village feast is celebrated on the 8th of September in the square of the 'Panagia Theotokou' church.
